Ham Nation Webshow
Have you heard about the new webshow called HamNation? No? Well you're missing out on a great webcast. Let's see if we can't change that for you ...

First off, what exactly IS HamNation? [Direct from their site]

HAM Nation is the new TWIT show about ham radio. Bob Heil, with various co-hosts and guests will cover the excitement and importance of ham radio - from tossing an antenna wire in a tree allowing you to talk to the world, to the importance of ham radio operators in time of disasters.

Sounds good? Well many agree that the show is good, but how can you join the many others watching the show? SImple,
HAM Nation airs live each Wed. at 6:00 PT/ 9:00ET on http://live.twit.tv

What else you should know? Well one very important thing, twit.tv has numerous webshows. HamNation is ONLY aired on Tuesdays at 6pm Pacific [on occasion it starts a little late, so if you tune in at 6 and you discover your watching something that has nothing to do with ham radio, don't leave, sit tight and it'll be worth it!]

Previous shows can be found on the HamNation subsite on twit.tv. Click this link:
http://twit.tv/hn to listen to or watch the archived episodes. The site should also be able to answer any other questions you might have about the show.

And what ham show would be complete with out a net following it? Ham Nation has got you covered int hat department. Every Tuesday, after the show [so around 7pm] is the Ham Nation After Show Net. The net runs on a few different bands. I only participate in one though so that's the info I can give [for the other net frequencies check the chat room during the show]

7 pm local [Pacific] time on [or near depending on qrm] 7.268 lsb. The Net Control station is Mike, WT6H. As of May of 2012, there is also a pre-net ragchew so we can 'hold' the frequency assuring we have a clear frequency for net! (no ncs for the pre-net ragchew. Just different net members visiting between 6:30 and 7:00 Pacific)

You can also visit the new Ham Nation Post Show Net on 40 Meters group in Yahoo Groups by clicking the following link: HamNation40 Group
